Cheers to everyone on ending the season on a high note. The Muddawgs defeat coupled with the near toppling of No. 1 seeded Closet Babes left me wanting more ... which is the way you should always end things.
Below is the progression of photos Shannon took after the game. (The first photo is the lowest.) So cute.

Game Three: The Fallen Warriors
It wasn't pretty, and we should have known how it was going to go from the moment we got the call that our speed demon, Kindra, got hit by a car last night while biking home from the night's earlier performance by the red-hot Ani DiFranco.
Kindra showed up, though, with her game-face on. Yet it wasn't good enough.
Moments after kick-off, our fearless leader, Lindsy, stepped in one of the many dangerous holes that cover the two fields at Warren Park. Within minutes of being helped off the field, her ankle swelled to the size of a baseball smacked by Alfonso Soriano. The team was never the same after that.
With our defense in a tizzy, Kathryn and CJ tangled feet while trying to stop Enemy No. 1 -- Ashanti -- near the end zone. CJ hit the dirt hard, with Kathryn landing with a thud on top of her. Not only did CJ hurt her foot, but she sliced her hand. It was gross.
In the second half, charging at a quarterback sneak, April ran Kati over like a Mack truck. (It should be noted that Kati had bouts of diarrhea all morning, so it didn't take much to knock the shit out of her.) Kati held up the flag from the ground.
Record to date: 1 and 2
~ Written and witnessed by Team Orr's deep safety, Quinn, who suffered only a deep bruise and scratch on the bicep.

Welcome to Team Ouch
Team Ouch documents the injuries incurred by Team Orr, the newest addition to the upper rec CMSA flag football league.
All of the injuries pictured here were received on the field. Sometimes at practice. Sometimes by our own teammates. But never because we were slacking.
